There was a time when people said painting was dead. I think what they meant was GOOD painting was dead. It?s back. Seven Propositions is an exhibition composed of seven painters working in seven distinct modes exploring the boundaries of their medium. Centered on the work of four emerging Seattle artists, the exhibition works through figuration, abstraction, narration, still life and landscape painting to ask what it means to be a painter in the contemporary age.
